Photoshop Homework 2

  1. go to https://www.instagram.com/kirbyjenner/?hl=en; find 1 image you think it would be really hard to photoshop yourself in to, post the image and the comment on your blog 
I think this image would be really hard to photoshop myself in because of its complexity. There is motion blur, multiple lighting sources, and special streaks of light which I would have to account for.

This image inspires me for the "Somewhere" project. That is because it takes the same idea of taking some image and photoshopping yourself into it to involve yourself in the story of the picture.

3. go to https://www.boredpanda.com/funny-photoshop-troll-james-fridman/ find 1 set of images that made you laugh, post them on your blog with your comment 

This made me chuckle as it both technically followed the prompt while also requiring an impressive amount of work to get the back of the head.

4. go to https://www.boredpanda.com/reality-behind-photography/ which illusion you think you might want to recreate? Post the inspiring image and comment

I would be interested in recreating this visual illusion. In part because it is simple and convincing but also because of a general interest I have in how perspective works in the context of film and photography.

Card 1 Card 2 Card 3 Business Cards         These are personal business card designs used to represent myself. This was the created using InDesign based off of my personal logo. I created the personal logo in an earlier project and, as it represents myself, it is fit for a card which is supposed to represent myself professionally. The colors were chosen to compliment the logo. I attempted to create a minimalistic design which were still visually interesting. Portfolio          Below is my portfolio of work I have done for Digital Media over the spring 2022 semester. I also included some stills from cinematography work I have done in the past. It was strangely sentimental looking back at all of my work I have accomplished over the past few months. I have learned a lot about how to use the adobe suite to create digital art. My skills have expanded and improved massively since I started the course. Making this portfolio in InDesign was definitely one of the hardest projects I have had to do, but it was a satisfying experience overall.

Logo Tag Brush

  Logo Tag               For this assignment I created a tag, as if it were spray painted, using my logo. I used photoshop to layer the assets together using masks and blending tools. I then used this to create a preset for the brush tool so that I could use it again later. In a separate file, I used this brush to create the simple art piece shown below.
